The soles are soft. We ordered a size larger and when wearing socks, they fit just right. We might have to stuff them in a little more. The shop answered questions quickly and well.

These shoes are really beautiful. They keep you warm well because they are lined with fur inside. I wore them on my trip to Hokkaido in sub-zero temperatures without any problems. They really keep you warm, but the downside is that they are not very slip-resistant.
